At Pole Position Aerial Fitness we teach classes for all levels from Absolute Beginners to Super Advanced. Pole dance has a huge variety of styles and we aim to represent them all - whether you want a gymnastic-type class that focuses on acrobatic pole tricks, or a pole choreography class with more sensual moves (and maybe some amazing heels!).

BEX
POLE INSTRUCTOR
Bex started pole with a group of friends at a dance-based class and instantly fell in love.
"I loved the strength and confidence it gave me, as well as the amazing friendships I made!
I started attending classes at Pole Position
just after having my little girl and got a new found love for the strength moves and tricks.
I then went on to do my instructor training and joined the amazing
Pole Position team.
I absolutely love teaching and sharing in the successes of my students and I always leave
feeling amazed by them.
BETH
POLE/HEELS & FLOW INSTRUCTOR
Beth started pole in 2013 while she was at the University of Sheffield. She says - "I knew from my first class that pole was something that was going to play a big part in my life and I have loved it ever since.
I have competed in 4 competitions over the years, winning the advanced category in an inter-university competition and reaching the final in two national group competitions.
I have been teaching at Pole Position Aerial Fitness since 2018 and can honestly say I have met the best people who I can confidently call friends for life."
JESS
POLE/HOOP INSTRUCTOR
Jess first started pole in 2015 and joined Pole Position in 2016 where she also took up Aerial Hoop.
Jess became part of the Pole Position Instructor team in May 2021 - initially starting as a cover instructor after qualifying to teach.
Jess is currently studying her PhD (that's right...a PhDancer!) and is using pole dance as a medium of research.
Her favourite moves on the pole are anything
Ayesha or brass monkey based!
In the hoop she is all about splitty moves (as you can tell from her bio picture here!).
